Quick answer. The Ministry of Industry and Trade publishes the directory of Morocco’s 12 regional Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Services (CCIS), including contact details and official websites. The correct chamber depends on the region concerned and on the company’s actual need.

What do the CCIS do?

The CCIS are public professional institutions with consultative, representative and business-support roles. They act as an interface between public authorities and companies in commerce, industry and services, and may provide information, networking, promotion, training or support programmes.

Why are there 12 regional chambers?

The network follows Morocco’s regional territorial organization. Older local chambers were grouped into 12 regional CCIS. A company in Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier or Agadir should therefore start with the chamber responsible for its current region rather than an old local directory.

What is available in the directory?

For each chamber, the ministry provides an address, telephone number and, where available, an official website. Some chambers operate their own platforms and programmes. Before travelling, check the regional website or contact the chamber to confirm the service, opening hours and whether an appointment is required.

CCIS or another authority?

A CCIS can inform and support a business but does not replace OMPIC for industrial-property rights, the DGI for taxes, Customs for clearance or a CRI for certain investment procedures. Use the directory to identify the regional business contact, then move to the specialist authority when the formality requires it.

Recommended route

  1. identify the region linked to the activity or project;
  2. open the regional CCIS entry;
  3. check telephone, address and website;
  4. define whether you need information, networking, training or support;
  5. confirm the service before visiting.

The 12 regions listed by the ministry include Béni Mellal-Khénifra, Casablanca-Settat, Dakhla-Oued Eddahab, Drâa-Tafilalet, Fès-Meknès, Guelmim-Oued Noun, Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra, Marrakech-Safi, Oriental, Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, Souss-Massa and Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima.

Key point: choose the chamber by region and purpose; a CCIS supports businesses but does not replace specialist administrations.
