Quick answer. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs diplomatic directory helps users find embassies, consulates and other representations. It has two different entry points: “Morocco abroad” for Moroccan embassies and consulates outside the Kingdom, and “Foreign representations” for foreign embassies, consulates and certain international organizations present in Morocco.
Choose the correct side of the directory
If you are in Morocco and need the embassy of another country, use the foreign-representations section. If you are abroad and need a Moroccan embassy or consulate, use the Morocco-abroad section. This distinction matters because a mission listed for one purpose may not be competent for the procedure you need.
What information can you find?
Depending on the mission, the directory can display the post name, head of mission, postal address, telephone number and sometimes other contact details. Results may be filtered by country, city or type of representation. Prefer the latest ministry record to an address copied from a private directory.
A directory entry does not prove consular jurisdiction
An embassy or consulate may serve a defined territorial area. Finding its address therefore does not automatically mean that it handles your passport, civil-status, legalization or visa-related request. For a Moroccan consular service, check the competent post and the exact service on the official consular channels before travelling.
Before visiting
- choose the correct directory section;
- filter by country and city;
- note the official address and telephone number;
- check opening hours and territorial competence on the mission website when available;
- verify whether the procedure requires an appointment.
Embassy, consulate or international organization?
An embassy mainly represents the state in diplomatic relations, while a consulate provides more direct consular services. The ministry directory also includes certain international organizations. For a foreign visa, the authority may also use an official external service provider, so the directory identifies the competent authority but not necessarily the physical submission counter.

Key point: find the right mission first, then confirm its jurisdiction and the practical requirements of your procedure before travelling.
