Quick answer. The Ministry of Industry and Trade's Industrial Project Bank presents investment opportunities as project sheets, organized by sector and value chain. It is a tool for exploring opportunities and preparing an industrial project; a project sheet is neither an administrative authorization nor a guarantee of financing, a subsidy or commercial success.

What does the Industrial Project Bank contain?

The portal lets you browse and filter opportunities by sector and value chain. Visible areas include agri-food, plastics, electrical and electronics, mobility and transport, textiles, leather, chemicals, construction materials and the green economy. The database has been built through several waves and continues to publish new industrial project sheets. For that reason, treat each sheet as a structured starting point rather than as a timeless market study.

How should you use a project sheet?

Start by understanding the proposed product, target market and industrial positioning. Then test those assumptions against your own project. You still need to assess demand, technology, equipment, suppliers, industrial land, standards, energy needs, staffing, logistics and financing. If the sheet contains figures on investment, capacity or market potential, verify whether they are still current before using them in a business plan or financing application.

Support for project promoters

The ministry publishes a Project Promoter Guide and states that a dedicated support unit assists investors with their projects. The guide also points to support offers, industrial-land information and public support mechanisms. These schemes have their own eligibility rules, ceilings, schedules and application procedures. Do not infer from the presence of a project in the bank that your company automatically qualifies for a grant, land allocation or preferential financing.

Before contacting the ministry

  1. select two or three sheets that match your industrial experience or technical capacity;
  2. document your financial capacity and the expertise available to the project;
  3. identify one or more possible locations and the related land and infrastructure constraints;
  4. list the standards, authorizations, critical inputs and equipment that need confirmation;
  5. prepare a short project summary and precise questions for the support team.

An idea bank, not a catalogue to copy

Two investors starting from the same sheet can build very different business models. Use the sheet to frame an independent feasibility study, not to reproduce a ready-made project. Costs, sales volumes, selling prices, imported inputs, local sourcing, employment assumptions and any public incentives should be updated for the date and location of your actual investment decision.

Check that the sheet is still relevant

The platform contains projects from different publication waves and also adds new ones. When you study an opportunity, check the sheet number, sector, value chain, publication context and any documents linked from the portal. The Project Promoter Guide available on the platform has itself been updated with a 2025 version. If an economic figure in an older sheet appears dated, treat it as an assumption to be revalidated rather than as a quotation or official commitment. The ministry's support channel can help you compare the initial opportunity with current industrial, land, regulatory and financing conditions.

Key point: use the project sheets to identify an opportunity, then build your own feasibility study and verify separately which support schemes actually apply to your project.
