Quick answer. The CNOPS insured-person account provides access to online follow-up and update services related to health coverage. CNOPS presents “My Account” as a transactional space for certain remote updates and benefit tracking. However, reimbursement, mutual-fund processing and requests for direct coverage do not all follow the same route.
What is “My Account” used for?
CNOPS describes the personal account as the area where an insured person can perform some updates remotely and monitor benefits. The public portal also provides information about reimbursable care and coverage. The account is therefore useful for checking your situation, but it does not automatically replace every administrative process under compulsory health insurance.
Reimbursement: why the mutual fund still matters
For outpatient care where the insured person advances the costs, CNOPS explains that mutual funds receive and process sickness files under delegated management. After control, the compulsory-insurance reimbursement and the complementary mutual-fund share follow the applicable circuit. If you are tracking a file already submitted, first identify the organization that actually received it.
Direct coverage is a different circuit
CNOPS directly manages certain coverage requests, including situations linked to third-party payment and hospitalization. This is different from a reimbursement file submitted after the patient has paid expenses. Two insured people can therefore have different procedures even though both are covered by CNOPS.
Update your situation and dependants
CNOPS provides online functions allowing the insured person to update personal circumstances and declare dependants remotely. Supporting documents vary according to the event, for example marriage, birth, divorce or continuation of a child’s studies. Use the official checklist for the exact change rather than a generic list copied from another case.
A practical way to use the account
- open the official cnops.org.ma domain;
- identify whether your need is coverage information, an update, reimbursement or direct coverage;
- for an update, use the document list corresponding to the declared event;
- for reimbursement after paying costs, verify the mutual-fund circuit;
- for direct coverage, follow the CNOPS instructions and those of the healthcare provider.
Do not apply one deadline to every request
CNOPS publishes different processing periods depending on the service. Its practical information refers, for example, to a legal maximum reimbursement period after a file is submitted to the mutual fund and to specific processing periods for certain coverage requests. Those figures should not be copied to a civil-status update or another operation.

Key point: the account supports tracking and some updates, but reimbursement, mutual-fund processing and direct coverage are separate circuits.
