Quick answer. CRI Invest centralizes information and procedures linked to investment projects handled within the framework of the Regional Investment Centers and the Unified Regional Investment Commission (CRUI). The platform helps identify the administrative act or authorization corresponding to a project; it does not guarantee that a file will be approved.
What kinds of procedures are covered?
The portal groups administrative acts and procedures around project admissibility, land, incentives, planning authorizations and operating permissions, among other topics. Start from the project’s actual administrative need rather than from the name of an institution.
What is the role of the CRUI?
CRI Invest explains that the CRUI is the regional framework for evaluation, instruction and processing of investment files under the reform of the Regional Investment Centers. Within its legal scope, it may issue an opinion, a binding opinion or decide on requests for administrative acts and authorizations.
CRI Invest and the regional CRI
The platform provides a common framework, but practical support remains territorial. For a project located in a specific region, identify the competent CRI for orientation, exchanges on the file and follow-up. The project’s location, activity, land requirements and planning constraints determine which procedures are relevant.
Before submitting a file
- define the activity and project location;
- identify whether the project needs land, planning permission or an operating authorization;
- consult the relevant procedure sheet and its requirements;
- prepare the technical and legal documents specific to the project;
- use the competent CRI to clarify ambiguous points before submission.
Support is not the same as authorization
An exchange with an adviser or a request for project support does not amount to a CRUI decision. Similarly, any financial incentive has its own eligibility rules. In your planning, separate project support, administrative acts, formal authorizations and support mechanisms.
What to prepare before examination
An investment file is easier to route when the project is sufficiently defined. Prepare a short note describing the activity, location, project promoter, land requirement, planned investment and authorizations already identified. For an industrial or real-estate project, add the technical material already available. This is not a universal checklist of documents; its purpose is to help the CRI quickly determine which acts and administrations need to intervene and whether the file should be examined by the CRUI.

Key point: start from the administrative act required by the project and the territorially competent CRI. The platform structures the workflow but does not prejudge the decision.
