The consular services directory is primarily used to identify the correct consulate or consular service before starting a procedure. The official Consulat.ma portal provides a “Find a consulate or consular service” tool together with a catalogue of services. The practical approach is therefore to separate two questions: which post is competent? and then which service do you need?

Find the competent consulate

The competent post mainly depends on the country and the consular district corresponding to your place of residence. The official directory lets you search for a consulate or consular service. Always check the address and contact details displayed at the time of your procedure because representations may move or change their reception arrangements.

Then choose the correct service

Consulat.ma groups services by themes including family and marriage, civil status, documents, appointments and services for Moroccans abroad. Some procedures are mainly informational, others require an appointment or physical submission, and some documents can be ordered through specialized online counters.

Before travelling to the post

  • check the territorial jurisdiction of the consular post;
  • open the exact service page and verify the supporting documents requested;
  • check whether an appointment is required;
  • do not rely on an old address found in a third-party directory;
  • for emergencies or special situations, use the contact details published by the official representation.

Why check the directory immediately before the procedure?

A saved page or search-engine result can retain an old address, telephone number or opening schedule. Consulat.ma publishes the directory directly and may also announce address changes for particular posts. If your procedure requires travel, check the official directory while preparing the visit and, when applicable, the appointment system before buying a ticket or sending documents.

Key point: the directory does not replace the procedure page. Use it to identify the correct post, then verify the service and its current conditions before travelling.
