Quick answer. Consulat.ma is an orientation portal for Moroccan consular services: family and marriage matters, civil status, personal documents, appointments and other services depending on the applicant’s situation. Required documents and fees depend on the chosen service and on the competent consular post.
Start with the service, not with the appointment
The consular portal organizes procedures by type. Before requesting an appointment, open the service description to identify required documents and confirm whether physical presence is actually required.
| Need | Official entry point |
|---|---|
| Identify documents for a consular service | Consulat.ma |
| Request a consular appointment | Consular appointment |
| Electronic visa for an eligible foreign national | Access Morocco eVisa |
| Find the competent consular post | Official consular directory |
An appointment is not always an instant calendar booking
The official appointment-system guide describes several stages: account creation, selection of beneficiaries and services, upload of requested evidence, submission, processing by the consulate and then selection of a proposed time slot. It is therefore misleading to present the service as a calendar where any date can immediately be chosen.
Bring the originals
For procedures requiring physical presence, the official guide states that originals and copies of required documents must be presented on the appointment day. Uploading a scan during the request does not mean that the original will never be required.
Check the competent post
The official directory helps locate a consulate or consular service. Use the post corresponding to your place of residence and personal situation, especially where services vary according to the beneficiary’s status.
Information can vary by post and applicant status
A service name may be common to several consulates while the practical requirements differ according to residence, beneficiary status or the competent post. Recheck the service sheet shortly before the appointment and do not assume that a document list used by another applicant or another consulate is automatically valid for your file.

Key point: identify the service and its required documents first, then use the appointment system only if that procedure requires it.
