Quick answer. PORTNET Foreign Trade is Morocco’s national portal for digitizing and coordinating many import and export procedures. In 2026, PortNet introduced a renewed architecture that clearly separates the Foreign Trade portal, PORTNET PORTS, PORTNET CARGO and access areas intended for administrations and partners.
Which PortNet portal should you use?
If your need concerns import/export formalities, licences, authorizations or exchanges with public administrations involved in foreign trade, start with PORTNET Foreign Trade. Port calls and port-community operations belong to PORTNET PORTS, while certain air-freight, MEAD and dry-port operations are handled through PORTNET CARGO. Choosing the correct environment prevents you from looking for a procedure in the wrong workspace.
Who uses PORTNET Foreign Trade?
The official portal is intended in particular for importers, exporters and customs brokers. It centralizes exchanges with a broad ecosystem of administrations and organizations for authorizations, controls and documents required as part of a foreign-trade operation.
What the portal adds to your file
- a secure account for procedures available to your profile;
- digital submission of requests and supporting documents for many modules;
- traceability of processing and exchanges with connected administrations;
- a shared point of entry for formalities that may previously have been spread across several systems.
Subscription and sign-in are not the same thing
A new user must first follow the subscription process that corresponds to their profile. An already authorized user signs in to the appropriate area. A company may need to prepare information about its representative and the supporting documents requested during activation. Use the list displayed by PortNet at the time of subscription instead of relying on an old copied checklist.
What changed in 2026?
In 2026, PortNet launched the Moroccan Foreign Trade Procedures Portal within a renewed architecture. If you saved an old bookmark, it is safer to return to the PortNet home page and select the portal that matches your profile. This reduces the risk of using a legacy interface or an access point intended for another logistics community.
Before submitting a procedure
Identify the operation precisely: import or export, the product involved, the authorization or control concerned, and the competent administration. PortNet is a digital orchestration gateway; it does not remove the regulatory requirements attached to each type of goods. For controlled products, the final decision may depend on the sector administration connected to the portal.

Key point: start from your profile and your operation. Foreign Trade, PORTS and CARGO do not serve the same needs even though they belong to the same PortNet ecosystem.
