Quick answer. Chikaya is Morocco's national portal for submitting and tracking complaints, observations and suggestions addressed to public administrations and bodies. The portal generates a number after registration; keep it because it is required for follow-up.
Complaint, observation or suggestion?
- Complaint: report a malfunction or challenge the handling of a public service.
- Observation: report a finding or remark without necessarily asking for redress.
- Suggestion: propose an improvement to the service.
The form asks you to select the administration or entity concerned, the subject and, depending on the case, the region, province/prefecture or other location information. A clear subject and factual description make the file easier for the receiving service to handle.
How to prepare a useful complaint
- identify the administration precisely;
- summarise the issue with facts, dates and file references;
- attach only useful and readable supporting documents;
- provide an email address or phone number you can reuse for tracking;
- save the complaint number after validation.
The forms observed in 2026 accept attachments. File formats and limits are shown during submission; check them before sending documents that contain personal data.
How to track the file
The tracking function asks for the complaint number and the email address or phone number used at submission. If the number is lost, the portal displays assistance numbers including 3737 and 08 0200 3737 from Morocco, plus a number for calls from abroad.
Special case: health complaints
Since April 2026, the health sector also has a dedicated platform, chikayasante.ma, announced for complaints concerning public and private health services. If your issue is specifically about health, check that dedicated channel before using the general portal.
After submitting, track rather than duplicate
Once registered, use the assigned number to monitor progress. Avoid creating multiple identical files simply because the answer is not immediate, as duplicates can complicate follow-up. Keep your supporting evidence and use the portal's tracking or assistance functions if essential information is missing.

Key point: describe verifiable facts, choose the right body, and keep the tracking number together with the email or phone used at submission.
