Quick answer. Morocco’s Ministry of Justice provides several separate digital services. The right entry point depends on the need: following a case or hearing, requesting a criminal record, using commercial-register services, filing a complaint, making a payment, booking a court appointment or researching legal information. There is no single form that covers all of these procedures.

Mahakim: cases and judicial services

The Mahakim portal is used in particular to follow cases, consult judicial services and access several online procedures. The ministry also references services related to enforcement against insurance companies and certain offence-related services. For a case that is already underway, start from the case reference or the competent court rather than from a general web search.

Criminal record, register and court cash desks: separate routes

The criminal-record request, commercial-register services and the electronic platform for court cash desks serve different purposes. Check the exact document or operation before starting: a judicial certificate, a business formality and a payment to a court cash desk do not follow the same process and do not necessarily require the same identifiers.

Complaints and appointments

The ministry lists a complaints platform as well as a portal for booking appointments with courts. A complaint does not replace a judicial appeal, and booking an appointment does not automatically file a procedural document. Keep the tracking number or confirmation whenever the service provides one.

Adala: research the law, not the status of a case

Adala is the Ministry of Justice legal portal. It provides access to legal texts and resources with search tools by subject or source. Use it to check the legal framework or locate a text; to follow the status of a judicial case, stay with Mahakim or the channel indicated by the court.

Which service should you choose?

  • Case/hearing: Mahakim and case-tracking services;
  • Criminal record: the dedicated online service;
  • Commercial register: the relevant local or central-register service;
  • Legal information: Adala;
  • Complaint: the referenced complaints channel;
  • Appointment: the court booking portal.

Security

Use institutional domains and avoid websites that request payments or credentials without a clear link to the Ministry. Before entering personal data for a sensitive document, always verify the portal address.

Before sending a document

Judicial services handle sensitive information. Prepare only the references required for the service you chose and confirm that the domain belongs to the Ministry or to the expected judicial portal. A case number, national identity information or a procedural document should not be sent to an unidentified intermediary simply because it promises faster tracking.

Key point: identify the nature of your need first; the ministry publishes several specialised online services that are not interchangeable.
