Quick answer. Vignette.ma is associated with the Special Annual Tax on Vehicles (TSAV), commonly called the vehicle “vignette”. The older label TSAVA still appears on some pages, but the practical objective is to pay the tax when due and retain proof of payment.
Payment and certificate are separate operations
The General Tax Directorate (DGI) relies on banks and payment-service providers for collection of the TSAV. The Ministry of Economy and Finance also indicates that partner digital channels such as e-banking, m-banking, ATMs, online card payment and mobile wallets can be used for electronic payment. DGI has also integrated payment and certificate issuance into the Daribati application.
What to prepare
- the vehicle-identification information requested by the chosen channel;
- the registration document or references needed to avoid selecting the wrong vehicle;
- the receipt or transaction reference if payment has already been made;
- a valid payment method if the tax still needs to be paid.
Recommended sequence
- check that the vehicle is subject to TSAV for the relevant year;
- if unpaid, use an officially supported DGI or Daribati payment channel;
- save the payment receipt immediately;
- if additional proof is needed, use Vignette.ma or the certificate function available through the official channel;
- if the amount is inconsistent or a payment is not recognised, contact DGI before paying again.
Service fees
In January 2025, the ministry reiterated that service fees for electronic TSAV payment are free through the digital channels of partner banks and approved payment institutions. This does not mean the tax itself is free. Tax rates and liability rules must still be checked for the relevant tax year.

Key point: verify whether payment has already been recorded before making another transaction, and retain the official receipt.
