Quick answer. ONSSA does not operate a single universal form for every sanitary procedure. The Office works across animal health, plant health, food safety, inputs, sanitary approvals and import/export controls. The correct route therefore depends on the activity, establishment and product concerned, and sometimes on the destination country.
What this service is for
For food and animal-feed establishments subject to approval or authorization, ONSSA indicates that the application is filed with the territorially competent inspection service. The file contains administrative and technical elements. If the decision is favourable, the establishment receives a sanitary approval or authorization number. This is different from an import or export control for a particular shipment.
How to proceed in practice
Import and export requirements vary by product category. For exports, the requirements of the destination country matter, and ONSSA publishes validated certificate models for certain products and destinations. For animal products, controls can include documentary checks, identity checks, physical inspection and laboratory analyses. Do not reuse the requirements of one product or country for another.
Before starting, verify the current interface and requirements on the official portal. Keep any reference number, acknowledgement or confirmation generated by the competent body; e-services.ma is an independent guide and does not process the administrative file for you.
Important distinction
Finding forms and requirements online does not mean the whole control is digital. Approval of an establishment can require filing with the provincial inspection service, while border procedures may include documentary, identity, physical or analytical controls. Treat the online material as a way to prepare the correct file, not as proof that the final sanitary decision is automatic.
Practical checklist
- Identify the exact product, activity and establishment.
- Confirm the territorially competent ONSSA service.
- Download the form for the precise procedure you need.
- Check the current sanitary requirement or certificate model before shipping.
- Do not transpose documents from another product or destination.

Key point: Start from the product and activity, not from a generic form. ONSSA requirements vary significantly by sanitary field and destination.
